Mr. Goldstein is a member of the law firm of McCusker, Anselmi, Carvelli & Rosen, P.C.  based in Florham Park, New Jersey.   His practice focuses on the litigation and mediation of business disputes. He is admitted to practice law in the States of New Jersey and New York.


Mr. Goldstein is listed on the roster of mediators maintained by the New Jersey Superior Court, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey and the Morris County Chancery Mediation Panel.


Mr. Goldstein has taught courses in the mediation of business disputes at Rutgers Law School and is a member of the Justice Marie L. Garibaldi American Inn of Court for Alternative Dispute Resolution.  He is also frequently called upon to participate in trial advocacy institutes.   Mr. Goldstein is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers .  He has been honored by the New Jersey Law Journal as the first recipient of its Lifetime Achievement Award in Litigation.  He is a recipient of  the University of Virginia Law School Trial Advocacy Institute’s Justice William J. Brennan Award, the Judge Learned Hand Award for Humanitarianism given by the American Jewish Committee, the Justice William J. Brennan Jr. Award conferred by the Federal Bar Association of New Jersey and has been honored by the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey for Excellence in Litigation.


Mr. Goldstein is included annually in the Best Lawyers in America, the New Jersey Super Lawyers and the Metropolitan New York Super Lawyers.  His peers give him an AV Preeminent rating of 5 out of 5 for professional excellence as published in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory,  and he has been selected for inclusion in the New York Area’s Top Rated Lawyers published by Martindale-Hubbell and ALM Media, LLC.


Mr. Goldstein has been actively engaged in professional associations throughout his career and is a former President of the Federal Bar Association of New Jersey.  Prior to entering private practice, he served as Executive Assistant United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey and was selected to be the recipient of the Attorney General’s Distinguished Award, which was awarded annually to only one federal prosecutor in the country.  Mr. Goldstein has been a member of the lawyers Advisory Committee of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey for many years.


Mr. Goldstein is a graduate of the Cornell Law School (1967) and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Rutgers College (1964).
