Hilary B. Klein is an Associate General Counsel in the General Counsel’s Office of The City University of New York. Hilary has worked in the General Counsel’s Office for seven years, where she specializes in labor and employment, legislation and student affairs, including First Amendment, due process, and student mental health issues. Prior to working at CUNY, Hilary worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Rights Bureau of the New York State Attorney General’s Office, an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Affirmative Litigation Division of the New York City Law Department, and an Assistant General Counsel in the General Counsel’s Office of the International Ladies’ Garment Workers Union. She is a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
