MARY ELLEN SHEA is a labor arbitrator on various panels including the American Arbitration Association, the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, the National Mediation Board, the Massachusetts Joint Labor Management Committee and the Mass. Division of Labor. She is a member of the National Academy of Arbitrators and is the permanent arbitrator for parties in postal, municipal and state sectors.  She currently has a full-time private practice that includes arbitration, mediation, facilitation, and training. Ms. Shea is a member of (and has been an officer in) the Labor and Employment Relations Association, the Association for Conflict Resolution, and the Society of Federal Labor Relations Professionals. Ms. Shea’s education includes the Negotiation and Dispute Resolution Program at Harvard University, an MPA from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, a BS from Northeastern University, and a certificate in Labor Studies from the University of Massachusetts.
